Peer Feedback - or not? or how?

Canva: Cute cats giving feedback to one another in a classroom

There is a lot of talk about peer feedback in English lessons! Think about the following:

  • Under what conditions is it really worth it?
  • What is the difference between peer feedback and corrective feedback?
  • Should you decide to have learners give feedback to one another, how can you ensure that every individual learns something and that something can be done WITH the feedback?
  • Might peer feedback only make sense when learners are fluent in English or can it be done meaningfully in German?
  • Could you come to the conclusion that peer feedback is NOT worth the time in English lessons? How?

On both these sites, you can search for "feedback" and get numerous other articles.
